The New Haven Coalition for Active Transportation has partnered with the League of American Bicyclists and Leta Highsmith to offer a League Cycling Instructor Seminar on April 4th - 6th in New Haven, CT.

League Cycling Instructor Bicycle Educators:
Gain a nationally recognized certification
Learn how to teach different students - youth, teens, and adults
Have liability insurance for classes they teach
Can utilize the League of American Bicyclists class resources
Can teach anything from basic learn-to-ride to advanced safe cycling skills
Learn how to lead safe group rides
Are an important part of increasing bicycle mode share in our community
There are prerequisite classes, including a test and road ride, in order to register for the League Cycling Instructor Seminar. NCAT is offering those classes in February, Street Skills 301 & Street Skills 302. If you have questions about prerequisite courses, reach out to Elias, classes@ncat-ct.org.
