Summer Learn to Ride and Safety Classes

The New Haven Coalition for Active Transportation applied for and received a $5,000 microgrant from CT DOT and the South Central Region Council of Governments (SCRCOG). We are using those funds to purchase bike lights, helmets, and pay League Cycling Instructors. Free learn to ride and bicycle safety courses are a big part of how this organization improves our community, increasing safety and confidence for new riders while growing active transportation mode share in New Haven.
